The Inner Worlds of Web3 Art: A Journey Beyond Profit
What is the destiny of Web3 artist today?
Being an artist in Web3 today isn’t easy. The landscape has shifted, and it often feels like everyone is chasing the latest trend. But here’s the truth - I’ve managed to succeed as an artist despite these challenges, selling multiple collections, including Inner Worlds on Magic Eden. The key?
Staying true to myself and my art.
I’ve never created a piece that doesn’t deeply resonate with my values and personal interests. As many of you know, my work often delves into the vast, uncharted territories of our inner selves - exploring emotions like loneliness, love, fear, and self-reflection.
To be honest, these emotions are where I’ve discovered entire worlds. I want to understand how these inner experiences connect and reflect in our shared reality. Time and again, I’ve been surprised by what I uncover. The best part? Every piece teaches me something new about myself.
You might notice I haven’t mentioned profits. That’s because profit hasn’t driven my work for a long time. Don’t get me wrong - I’m not against it. To say otherwise would be dishonest. But my real motivation lies elsewhere. So, what’s the point of all this?
You Can Succeed, Even in a Bear Market
Despite the market downturn, you can still thrive as an artist. It may seem like everyone is jumping on the meme coin bandwagon, but as someone connected with over 30,000 people on X daily, I can confidently tell you there are plenty of collectors and art lovers who appreciate art for its own sake - not as a quick flip.
Connecting with these genuine art lovers, however, requires more than sporadic effort. It demands consistency. And consistency isn’t just a buzzword; it’s about showing up, day after day, for your audience - not only when you want to sell something. Think about it - would you trust someone who only reaches out when they need a favor?
Consistency also means more than just saying "GM" every morning or replying to empty grind posts. It should be reflected in your work as well. If you’re constantly chasing trends or posting random, unconnected AI-generated pieces, collectors will notice. As an artist and collector myself, I look for art that carries a message, something that resonates with its creator - and ultimately, with me too.
Now, please let me out.
To close, I want to share something special - my latest creation, and my first-ever video artwork. This piece is significant to me, and it's now open for minting. I’d be honored if you checked it out and tell me what you think. And if it resonates with you, I’d be thrilled if you decide to collect it.
So excited to announce Let Me Out - my genesis video art on Foundation 🔥
It reflects the tension between self-imposed barriers and the yearning for freedom.
We are the ones who build walls, trapping ourselves in structures of our own making.
