This week, we're diving into the world of art.

Meet Sergis Adamos and Vandalo Ruins

If I had to choose one thing that makes my days in Web3 so extraordinary, it would be art collecting. Countless creative souls share their work daily, and many of them are exceptionally talented individuals with remarkable careers in the art world.

One of these great individuals is Sergis Adamos, a dear friend and client of mine. Delving into the intricate details of his work would require a series of newsletters, but for now, let me share that his unique artistic approach is gaining worldwide recognition by the day, and I'm confident that the best is yet to come.

In a nutshell, Sergis is utilizing glass negative plates (don't worry if you're unfamiliar with these – a quick Google search will suffice). These glass negatives, numbering in the thousands, were stored in an almost forgotten basement for decades. They were the work of photographer Spyros Haritou (1901-91), now celebrated as one of the pioneers of early 20th-century Paphos photography. Today, Sergis is rediscovering images from these negatives, infusing them with his unique style and sensibility, all while constructing a broad context where our local and global heritage converges with art, unlocking a value previously unimaginable.

If you haven't had the chance to explore Sergis's work, I encourage you to follow him on X and stay tuned. I know he's preparing something truly extraordinary for his Web3 family.

But we're not finished yet! Have you had a chance to catch the latest episode of the Growkind podcast?

My bet is that you've been introduced to Vandalo Ruins, a brilliant artist who is gearing up for his first solo exhibition this Halloween at the SuperChief NYC gallery. During the podcast, we delved into a range of topics, from the current challenges within the art world to the exciting perspectives of Web3, not to mention the incredible projects he's deeply involved in.

If you have a passion for our space, this is unquestionably an episode you won't want to miss.

That's all for now. Wishing you a fantastic rest of the week, and I look forward to seeing you on X!
